Larry David feasts on steak in Chicago

Larry David is chowing down as he prepares for the return of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

The comedian, 70, joined actor pal, Greg Kinnear, and six other friends at Giuliana and Bill Rancic‘s restaurant, RPM Steak, in Chicago on Friday.

A source told Page Six that the group dined on “salads, lots of seafood appetizers, NY strip steaks, a rare and expensive Ohmi Japanese wagyu, ribeye, cod and halibut.” The wagyu runs a hefty $115 per three-ounce serving.

Neither David or Kinnear seemed all that concerned about keeping a low profile. “Both men were social and chatty, joking around heavily and pretty much the entire dining room was thrilled to see them there,” the source said.

“Several pictures were snapped,” they continued, “especially when Larry David made his presence known by strolling the restaurant intermittently and popping in and out of the front door every now and then.”

The ninth season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” premieres on HBO on Sunday, Oct. 1.
