Inside Meghan Markle’s sister’s tell-all book pitch

While Meghan Markle’s ex Trevor Engelson is capitalizing on the “Suits” star’s relationship with Prince Harry for a TV show, her estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant, has been pitching a tell-all book — and Page Six has seen the synopsis.

Grant revealed in April she’s writing a book with the working title “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.” But we hear she’s now shopping it with a pitch that focuses on race. The two share a white father. Markle is biracial. Grant is not.

Grant writes in a synopsis to publishers that the tome “Illustrates the evolution of my biracial lens since my birth in the ’60s, the bigoted underpinnings in my own family that echoed in my mind as a child while I defended [the idea] that there is no such thing as ‘color,’ only fear and hatred that people like my own grandmother were taught in the uneducated and insecurity-based pockets of America and the world.”

The pitch was written in April. “When my biracial sister was born, I would be forever ‘color blind,’” the pitch continues. “If only I could predict the media frenzy and racial slurs that would occur as a direct result of my beautiful baby sister possibly becoming the first biracial princess or duchess in royal history. Little did I know that I would stand looking back over my shoulder at how far we’ve come in the world towards true multiracial and multicultural appreciation, contrasted with how far we have to go in our evolution towards Dr. Martin Luther King’s Dream.”

Grant’s said less-than-nice things about Markle in the past, including: “Hollywood has changed her. I think her ambition is to become a princess,” and, “The truth would kill her relationship with Prince Harry.” But a source tells us Markle and Grant “have never had a relationship.”

A rep for Markle had no comment.

Markle’s ex-husband Engelson is producing a TV show about an American divorced mother who moves to London to marry a prince, and the father’s problems sharing custody with the British royals.

He and Markle divorced in 2013 after two years of marriage and have no children.
