Jim Carrey claims extortion in ex-girlfriend’s wrongful death suit

Two years before killing herself, Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend wrote him a note saying he’d “ruined her life’’ by introducing her to “cocaine, mental abuse, prostitutes and disease,’’ according to a shocking report Saturday.

In the 2013 note obtained by the Daily Mail, Catriona White, 30, says she’d been “promised Jekyll but . . . got Hyde.’’

White, a makeup artist, wrote it while the two were fighting an ugly legal battle over whether she caught herpes from Carrey. She composed it on an iPad, but it was not clear whether she ever pressed “send.’’

Carrey claimed he never had an STD, charging she was trying to extort him.

Still Carrey, 55, gave her an undisclosed sum of money to keep her from going public, the Mail said.

The movie star claimed White decided to end it all because she felt guilty about her “extortion’’ attempt. They reconciled briefly in September 2015.
