Joe Biden has Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ back

Joe Biden is voicing his support for Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

After she revealed Thursday she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, the former vice president wished the 56-year-old actress well on Twitter.

“We Veeps stick together. Jill and I, and all of the Bidens, are with you, Julia,” Biden, 74, posted alongside a photo of Louis-Dreyfus.

The mother of two replied, “@JoeBiden yes we do. Love back to all of you.”

Louis-Dreyfus received her diagnosis one day after she won her record-breaking sixth Emmy for her role as Selina Meyer on HBO’s “Veep.” She later shared the news on social media.

“1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one,” Louis-Dreyfus wrote. “The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.”
