Kaley Cuoco’s love of drinking got her searched at the airport

Kaley Cuoco made a big bang recently at the airport, where her love of booze got her bags searched.

The bubbly blonde told Jimmy Kimmel that during a recent flight to Australia with boyfriend Karl Cook, she thought a TSA agent was going to compliment her on her Gucci bag, but instead searched the purse when it set off metal detectors.

“She starts searching through, and she pulls a wine opener out of my purse,” Cuoco, 31, recalled. “Like, a real one with arms, like the Rabbit. And I was like, ‘Oh, my God! That’s a weapon!'”

The “Big Bang Theory” star said the agent then began to search the smaller bags within her large bag, eventually retrieving yet another wine opener from a makeup bag.

“I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m going to be on a no-fly list,'” she said. “[The agent] goes, ‘You can’t have these on the plane.’ And I’m like, ‘I know, I know. I just like alcohol.’ And apparently, I needed to be very prepared.”

She admitted that her in-flight drink of choice has changed since the incident: She now prefers bourbon — which she can simply unscrew to sip — to wine, she cracked, “probably because I’m not allowed to carry a wine opener.”
