Jeannie Mai of ‘The Real’ is getting divorced

“The Real” co-host Jeannie Mai and her reality star husband, Freddy Harteis, are divorcing after 10 years of marriage.

A rep for Mai confirmed the breakup to Page Six on Friday.

The 38-year-old Mai, who began her career as a celebrity makeup artist, has been open about her personal life on “The Real,” but hasn’t publicly commented on her split from the “Hollywood Hunter” host as of Friday.

But on an episode in 2014, Mai revealed that she and Harteis had opposing views on whether to have children.

“Before we got married, I was very clear about the fact that I probably would not have kids, just because I’ve never felt that,” she said. “And now, getting older, he definitely seems like he wants kids, and he actually came out and said that he wants children.”

She added, “I guess it’s just really hard because I can’t just have a child for another person, and you don’t have a child to save your marriage, but we are in love, and we are enjoying life, and he’s my Freddy, and I’m his Jeannie, and we don’t have any other problems except that, which, you never know what could happen in the future.”

However, in 2016 she finally got the baby bug and said on the show that she was thinking about freezing her eggs to open up the possibility of having a baby in the future.
