Serena Williams weds Alexis Ohanian

Serena Williams is a married woman.

The tennis sensation wed Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian Thursday evening in New Orleans.

The couple, who are proud new parents of 11-week-old daughter Alexis Olympia Jr., tied the knot at the Contemporary Arts Center in the French Quarter, where they said their “I do’s” in front of a star-studded crowd, including Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. People also reported newly engaged Caroline Wozniacki joined the festivities with her future husband, former Knick David Lee.

While Williams, 36, confirmed to Vanity Fair that she and Ohanian, 34, would wed this fall, much of their glitzy ceremony was shrouded in secrecy until hours before. Sources told Page Six the guests weren’t informed of the wedding locale in advance and told cars would pick them up from their hotels on the day of the event. Those invited were also said to be banned from posting snaps on social media, given that Williams inked a deal to share her wedding photos exclusively with Vogue.

They started dating in 2015, and Ohanian popped the question to Williams a year later while the twosome vacationed in Rome. The tennis pro later announced the engagement on Reddit.

“This time he made it not by chance / But by choice,” Williams gushed. “Down on one knee / He said 4 words / And I said yes,” Williams shared.

Months after getting engaged, Williams accidentally revealed her pregnancy in April, showcasing her baby bump on Snapchat. She and Ohanian welcomed their first child in September.

Williams is expected to return to the tennis circuit next year.
