Kim Richards completes community service

Kim Richards is nearly in the clear following her drunken Beverly Hills arrest in 2015.

The ex-“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star completed her mandated 450 hours of community service for allegedly kicking a cop in 2015, her lawyer proved to a court on Tuesday, according to TMZ. Coincidentally, the 53-year-old’s court date fell on the same day as the show’s eighth season premiere.

The community service was the last step Richards needed to take to satisfy the judge’s stipulations in her case, according to TMZ.

Her probation will end on Sept. 14, 2018, per E! News.

Page Six previously reported that the former child star went on a drunken rampage at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She claims that she pulled into the hotel after having a glass of wine at her daughter Brooke’s home, and begged the staff to let her sit in her favorite spot at The Polo Lounge. When a staffer threatened to call the police, she locked herself in the bathroom. The mom of four was later charged with trespass, resisting arrest, being drunk in public and battery on a police officer.

Richards explained the ordeal to Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live,” saying: “I drank that night, no excuses … I stopped focusing on myself. I stopped taking the time for me and going to meetings because I was taking care of other people and stopped caring for myself.”

But, her legal troubles were far from over as she was arrested for shoplifting at a local Target just four months later. She was banned from the store as a result, but was able to avoid jail time in that case as well.

Richards’ rep didn’t get back to us.
