Tamar Braxton‘s divorce from her estranged husband, Vincent Herbert, hit a new low.
On Saturday, in a since-deleted Instagram rant, Braxton claims a woman contacted her to say Herbert is having a baby with her.
“Vincent Herbert is having a baby,” she started, according to E! News. The singer added the other woman “decided to let me know about it tonight!!”
Braxton, 40, did not name the other woman, but she advised her to check public records for what happened to Herbert, 44, on Christmas Day.
TMZ reports that Herbert was arrested and jailed on the holiday for spousal assault. He was released on $20,000 bail.
“Co-parenting while going through a divorce is not an easy task,” she told the site in a statement. “While celebrating the Christmas holiday as a family, after a few drinks and some jealousy, things got a bit out of hand, which is common for most families during the holidays. In the midst of everything our family is going through things got heated and a bit exaggerated.”
She cleared up any rumors that Herbert was physically abusive in the situation saying, “there was no physical interaction between Vince and I on Christmas.”
But Braxton made her feelings very clear stating, “While I do not appreciate his lack of respect for our family and him allegedly impregnating another woman, I cannot paint him as a vicious abuser that Vince is not.”
The pair, who share 4-year-old son Logan Vincent, called it quits in October after nine years of marriage.
