Joe Giudice’s prison lawsuit gets tossed

Joe Giudice has one less lawsuit on his hands.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star’s lawyer submitted a letter to the court asking that his suit against the US Bureau of Prisons be dismissed on Jan. 23, according to court records obtained by Page Six on Friday.

The United States District Court of New Jersey judge granted the order the following day, as the suit “has become moot by his transfer to another Federal Bureau of Prisons facility.”

Teresa‘s husband was transferred to FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania in November after he filed a suit alleging that he was being barred from an alcohol abuse treatment program that would shave a year off his sentence.

He previously was serving his 41-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix.

Joe, 45, and Teresa, 45, pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and submitting false loan applications to get $5 million in mortgages and construction loans. Joe also pleaded guilty to not paying approximately $200,000 in income taxes.

Teresa completed a 15-month prison sentence at Danbury Correctional Facility in December 2015.
