Rent Sean Spicer’s Virginia townhouse for $2,550 a month

No alternative facts here: A charming brick townhouse available for rent in Alexandria, Va., for $2,550 a month is owned by none other than former White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

Even though Spicer left after just six months on the job, it turns out that he and his former employer, President Donald Trump, have something in common: real estate.

In addition to the two-bedroom rental on the market, Spicer and his wife, Rebecca Miller, have other holdings in the DC suburb.

The couple own a four-bedroom, single-family home in the Beverly Hills area of Alexandria, purchased in 2010 for $756,000. In Northeast Alexandria, there’s a house they picked up for $170,000 in 1999. Add to that a one-bedroom condo purchased in 2002 for $132,500, and a second condo located in Arlington, Va., snapped up in the same year for $214,500.

The website Bisnow estimates that the Spicers’ tidy real estate portfolio could bring in as much as $165,000 a year in rental income. Who needs that pesky government gig, anyway?

So, what does the home offer besides an ex-Trump press lord as the landlord? Let’s take a look. Built in 1948, the 846-square-foot home has two beds and one full bath on the second level. The main floor features a living room and dining area with wood flooring. The bedrooms are carpeted.

The updated kitchen comes with tile flooring and granite counters, as well as a stacked washer and dryer, a microwave, fridge, dishwasher and stove.

The low-maintenance, fenced backyard offers plenty of room for a table and barbecue. The home is conveniently located near public transit and Washington, DC, making it perfect digs for a young  West Wing staffer or government employee.

Spicer gained pop culture status on “Saturday Night Live” when he was parodied by a hilarious gum-bingeing, insult-hurling Melissa McCarthy.

Spicer left his White House post in protest of Trump’s choice of Anthony Scaramucci for White House communications director (Scaramucci’s White House tenure was much shorter than Spicer’s six months).

Spicer previously served as communications director for the Republican National Committee. He announced he is writing a tell-all book about his experience in the White House, set to be released this summer.
