Bon Jovi loses big after selling West Village condo

Jon Bon Jovi is used to making hits — but this time he’s taking one.

We’re told the rock superstar took a loss after selling his West Village condo for $15 million — $2.25 million down from the original asking price.

Sources say the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer bought the apartment at 150 Charles St. — where other celebrity residents have included Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk and Ben Stiller — in 2015 for $12.95 million and did “extensive renovations” on the pad.

The rocker listed the 4,031-square-foot duplex — which boasts four bedrooms, 4 ½ bathrooms, river-and-skyline views and a large, grassy terrace — for $17.25 million in June but didn’t bag a buyer.

We’re told Bon Jovi “just wanted out of the building.”

He picked up a new place at the “much more elegant” Greenwich Lane building in the West Village for $19 million.

According to Curbed, the star has “had quite the real estate journey in the past few years,” listing and cutting the price on a Soho penthouse several times.
