Catt Sadler has apparently been blacklisted from E!.
Since departing “E! News” after learning Jason Kennedy made double her salary — despite Sadler having more responsibilities — Sadler appears to no longer have an amicable relationship with the network.
“I have very good friends there who reach out and I still see and talk to and I adore and love,” Sadler told Cosmopolitan. “But they’re literally like, ‘Uh, maybe we shouldn’t meet at Sunset Tower, maybe you should come over,’ because they don’t want to get in trouble. It’s that heightened of a situation.”
Sadler has no regrets about leaving E!, recently telling Coveteur that her experience since quitting has been nothing but “remarkable.” Recently, however, her former co-worker Maria Menounos, who left the network last year after revealing she had undergone surgery for a brain tumor, asked her if she’d consider suing the network. Although she played coy then, Sadler admitted to Cosmopolitan that she would but has reservations.
“There’s a part of me that wants to fight that frickin’ fight for all those women because I can,” Sadler said, “but there’s another part of me that wants to work and doesn’t want to get labeled as somebody out filing a big lawsuit and now it becomes this really ugly thing and half of Hollywood doesn’t work with me because I’m that chick that sued E!.”
