She’s giving him the slip — and it’s making brand consultants nervous.
Susan Sarandon’s daughter and noted “mommy blogger” Eva Amurri posted on her blog Tuesday about her plans to give her husband, NBC Sports broadcaster Kyle Martino, a K-Y Jelly gift set for Valentine’s Day.
We’re told the post set in motion a flurry of early morning communication among spooked — and apparently somewhat prudish — industry insiders who work with brands that advertise on her blog, Happily Eva After.
“There are a bunch of texts going around about it,” says an insider about colleagues worrying aloud that “clients are going to have a fit.”
“Her [site] is all very kid-friendly,” said the source, “It’s just odd to do that. A lot of these brands are very conservative.”
In the long post, Amurri muses, “I can’t wait to try out the lube set! TMI, maybe, sorry. Hahah. I mean we do have two kids, people!”
The couple has a 3-year-old daughter, Marlowe, and a 1-year-old son, Major.
Fans were far from scandalized, posting, “I love the realness!” Her rep told us, “We have not experienced any concern over this post. No further comment.”
