‘Glee’ cast reunites after co-star Mark Salling’s death

The cast of Ryan Murphy‘s musical series “Glee” reunited in Los Angeles a little over a month after their disgraced former cast mate Mark Salling committed suicide.

“It’s a GLEE-Union!!” Matthew Morrison wrote alongside a pic of the crew, which included Jane Lynch, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Becca Tobin and Vanessa Lengies.

Also at the dinner on Wednesday was the show’s choreographer Zachary Woodlee, script coordinator Aristotle Kousakis and writers Matt Hodgson and Michael Hitchcock.

Morrison’s wife Renee and 4-month old son were in attendance as well. “What a beautiful night hangin with my old kids & new kid! Ohana…” Morrison wrote.

Amber Riley posted the same pic writing, “I love these Gleeple 💜 see you all in another couple of years.”

On Jan. 30, Salling, who played Noah Puckerman on “Glee,” was found hanging in a riverbed area in the Tujunga neighborhood of Los Angeles. The 35-year-old actor had just pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and was set to be sentenced in March. He was facing four to seven years in prison.

This is the second passing of a former “Glee” cast member. Cory Monteith died in July 2013 from a drug overdose at age 31.

Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Jayma Mays and Dianna Agron were absent from the reunion.
