Why Bill Rancic doesn’t give Giuliana career advice

Bill and Giuliana Rancic are joining forces on new projects, but the power couple doesn’t share advice with each other.

“She doesn’t need [advice]!” Bill, 46, told Page Six on Thursday at the #WhySettle Spirit Awards at the Hyatt House Chelsea. “She’s a hard worker and she’s doing great things as well as an entrepreneur, so I’m glad I could help her as an entrepreneur and she’s helped me as an entrepreneur.”

While adding that the couple has “definitely helped pull each other up in our careers,” the best advice he’s received came when Bill was a young man.

“Someone once said, ‘Don’t try to be the smartest guy in the room but be willing to work the hardest.’ And that’s something that I’ve always believed. I know I’m not going to be the smartest guy in the room. There are guys who have amazing credentials and degrees and engineers and that’s not me. But I’m willing to come in early and stay late and put in the time to get the job done.”

Bill won the first season of “The Apprentice” in 2004 and went on to partake in numerous other ventures in the business realm. Meanwhile, Giuliana, 43, anchored E! News for 10 years from 2005 until 2015. She now hosts red carpet specials for the network.

“We’ve got a lot going on,” Bill told us. “We just launched the Giuliana Prosecco. And we’ve got the restaurant brand that we’re building. So we’ve got restaurants in Washington, DC, and now Chicago and hopefully, we’ll be moving into other markets with restaurants as well. And we’ve got a few other projects that we’re launching soon. We’ve got a parenting app that we’re going to be launching in the next month which is really going to be helpful for parents to get answers to all the questions that they have. So we’ve got a lot of really cool stuff that I think people are going to be excited to be a part of.”
