Rita Ora reveals she’s bisexual with new song ‘Girls’

Rita Ora has revealed her latest track “Girls” is inspired by her own experience of being bisexual.

Her new track – which also features Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX – is expected to be the hit of the summer.

Her revealing song includes the lyrics: “Sometimes I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls / Red wine, I just wanna kiss girls, girls girls…”

Rita then goes on to sing: “I am excited, I’m open-minded / I’m 50/50, and I’m never gonna hide it / You should know.”

Speaking to People magazine about the track, Rita, 27, explained: “I wrote this song, like, two years ago in London with my team, and I actually didn’t think that much of it.

“Then it got into Cardi’s hands, and she loved it, and she was actually the first person to put a verse on it.

“It really ended up naturally being four hot chicks and a real natural thing.”

After getting Bebe and Charli to also work on the song, it’s now being billed as one of the biggest tracks of 2018.

As well as taking inspiration from her own experiences, Rita said she was inspired by Katy Perry and her hit song “I Kissed A Girl.”

She added: “[That song] was so fun. I wanted to do something that was in that lane.”

Rita’s song “Girls” was released Friday.
