Ryan Murphy showed off his latest FX series, “Pose,” to VIPs at Metrograph this week — and he told us the ’80s-NYC-set series is a true passion project.
“I try to use my power for good, and I am donating all the profits back into the community. I am not making any money on this project. That is something that I just wanted to do.”
The show follows “ball culture” in the LGBTQ community, and Murphy’s take is going to trans and LGBTQ organizations.
The show, out June 3, stars five trans actors.
