Andrew Garfield says his first kiss was with 30 girls

Andrew Garfield will remember his first french kiss for the rest of his life.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Late Show,” the actor revealed the magical moment happened at age 13 with the help of some 30 girls at an unsupervised party.

“As the hormones monster came into my life I went to a co-ed school,” he mused with Stephen Colbert. “We have no framework of how to deal with the opposite sex — or the same sex. All we know is that we need it, we want it, and there are these unnamable desires that are coming up, right? You remember it. None of us know what we’re doing. There’s all these longings and all these stirrings — and we’re terrified of each other, all of us.”

Then came the party that forever changed his life, said the 34-year-old.

“It was about 50 young boys and girls on separate sides of this garden and no parental supervision,” he recalled. “Suddenly, it was like a scene from ‘Braveheart,’ where the Scottish and the English just start charging at each other!”

In the mania of everyone kissing at the once, Garfield said he ended up kissing some 30 girls that night.

“This isn’t me showing off,” he quipped. “It was a free-for-all. It was like a royal rumble.”

Although he’s had other experiences since that evening, he often thinks fondly on that night as do his buddies.

“It remains one of the best nights of my life!” he laughed. “It was like a mass sexual awakening.”
