Cardi B isn’t having any fun planning her upcoming baby shower.
“Baby shower planning makes me not even wanna do a wedding,” the rapper wrote on Twitter on Saturday. “S–t so overwhelming.”
Earlier in the week, the award-winning rapper, who is due any day now with her and fiancé Offset‘s baby girl, said she was also working on her baby registry.
“Doing my registry but I wanna add gifts for myself,” the 25-year-old star quipped on Twitter. “My baby think I need this Gucci dress. Let me stop… Ugh I’m so shleepy.”
From her tweets, Cardi B is sparing no expense for the upcoming soirée. Because her doctor said she can’t fly anymore, the rapper said she’s flying 60 people down to Atlanta for the shower.
After giving birth, Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, won’t have unlimited time to bond with her baby.
She’s going on the road with Bruno Mars for seven weeks beginning in September.
While she’ll have her hands full with a tour, Cardi B plans to bring her bundle of joy along for the ride.
“What I envision is my tour bus has my own personal room, and I just want to be with my baby,” she said last week. “Only time I don’t have my baby with me is when I’m getting my hair done, makeup done, performing. I don’t want to miss one second. I don’t want to miss no smiles, I don’t want to miss no new movement, I don’t want the baby to confuse me and the babysitter.”
