When Page Six asked the Netflix show’s Fab Five to finish the sentence “You’re never fully dressed without a ____,” fashion pro Tan France replied pragmatically (“A pair of underwear?”), while food whiz Antoni Porowski’s answer leaned emotional (“A mood”). Van Ness’ response, however, landed somewhere in the middle.
“If you’re feeling a little down, you’re never fully dressed without a strong heel,” the grooming guru explained. “But only if you’re depressed — if you need a pick-me-up.”
Heels have become something of a signature for Van Ness lately — specifically Vetements’ $1,000+ stiletto sock boots, which he’s worn in both gold and black.
