Despite numerous award nominations and wins, Saoirse Ronan claims to not think she’s famous.

“I just genuinely don’t think I am,” she told Vogue. “Selena Gomez is famous.”

The 24-year-old, who ironically doubted her fame in an interview for the famed magazine’s August cover, explained that she just doesn’t keep up with herself.

“If you’re not aware of how often you’re in a newspaper, then it’s, like, it’s not really happening,” she said.

The star of “Lady Bird,” the 2017 coming-of-age film that nabbed her a Golden Globe and a Oscar nomination, has been working since age 9, first on an Irish television show and then on the big screen with her nominated role in “Atonement” at age 13.

And with getting a young start, Ronan had her mom around to set boundaries when filming.

“I was very lucky that I had a proper protector with me,” she said of her mother when a director was thought to be taking advantage of her naivety.

Years later — as she prepares for the December release of historical biopic “Mary Queen of Scots,” in which Ronan plays the lead alongside Margot Robbie, and a possible role in the remake of “Little Women,” helmed by “Lady Bird” director Greta Gerwig — the actress says she prefers to keep a low profile off screen.

“I think people know not to ask me certain things. They’re not going to know who I’m going out with or where I live. They’re not going to know much about my family,” she explained.

“Someone said to me, ‘You’re monogamous when it comes to your work,’ and it’s so true, you can only commit to one thing at a time.”

Ronan also participated in the magazine’s “73 Questions” segment.
