Tekashi 6ix9ine chose an interesting look for his most recent court appearance Monday.
The 22-year-old rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, tweeted a photo of himself dressed in a badly wrinkled and slightly oversize white button-down shirt, worn untucked with dark jeans and untied Valentine’s Day-edition Air Jordan sneakers worth $165.
He finished the outfit with a pink tie that was knotted twice — once in the typical fashion at the base of the throat, and another Windsor knot below, leaving the underside of the tie exposed with the label out.
Still, his disheveled take on menswear was perhaps more formal than the Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt, sweatpants and messy bun Hernandez wore to court last week.
The hip-hop artist has been in and out of legal proceedings after he was arrested earlier this month for an outstanding warrant, and is now also facing misdemeanor assault charges for a separate incident involving an NYPD officer.
