Sean Spicer to celebrate new book in Trump’s DC hotel

Members of the Trump administration are expected to descend on Trump International Hotel in DC Thursday night to toast former White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

Spicer, who served six months at the briefing-room podium, is hosting a book-launch party with the support of White House allies at the downtown hotel.

Expected among the 250 guests are budget director Mick Mulvaney, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, a source tells The Post. Also on the guest list are the president’s son Donald Trump Jr. , Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY).

Spicer will release his book, “The Briefing: Politics, the Press, and the President,” on Tuesday.

The book is billed as a behind-the-scenes account of the Trump campaign, transition team and early days of the White House. Spicey has been making a media blitz of late, appearing on NBC’s “Today” and “Fox & Friends” as well as NPR, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “Access Hollywood,” “Extra” and “TMZ Live.”
