Opera legend Marilyn Horne’s Central Park- facing duplex at 10 W. 66th St. has been sold to billionaire Carl Icahn’s daughter Michelle, a source told Page Six, for $4.5 million. Horne, known for her performances in Alban Berg’s “Wozzeck,” moved into the 2,100-square-foot space in the 1970s when she reportedly purchased it for a mere $126,000.
It boasts four bedrooms and a terrace.
Listing brokers, Douglas Elliman’s Tom Postilio and Mickey Conlon, declined to comment on the sale.
An affiliate of Icahn Enterprises recently bought a penthouse at Museum Tower for $9 million, where Carl owns another penthouse.
Back in 2014, Michelle — who is a digital content producer at Icahn Capital — reportedly gave her father a clever artist’s rendition of a game called “Icahnopoly: The Activist Edition.”
It was modeled after the famed Monopoly board, but with Icahn at the center, with a top hat and tails.
And rather than Park Place or Boardwalk, properties on the game board included Apple and Herbalife.
The proud dad tweeted at the time: “Great gift from my daughter. She says a 2nd addition [sic] coming soon. Hope $EBAY is on it.”
