The Four Seasons restaurant is four seasons behind schedule.
The eatery — forced out two years ago from its home in the Seagram Building — was scheduled to reopen last fall, and then this past spring, three blocks south at 49th Street and Park Avenue. But the space needed new stairways and other structural modifications. The opening is now set for September.
“Elegant finishes take time,” said co-owner Alex von Bidder. “And we are training staff and fine-tuning before opening.”
They have brought onboard chef Diego Garcia (of Gloria in Hell’s Kitchen) and pastry chef Bill Yosses, who baked in the White House from 2007 until 2014.
