Rod Stewart’s getting a couple of new backup singers — “Today” anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
We’re told that the pair are expected to get onstage during the rock legend’s Tuesday night show at Madison Square Garden.
Said a source, “they’re fans of each other and Savannah and Hoda can never turn down the chance to have fun.”
The hosts normally have an early school night as they’re in the studio so early, but they’re making an exception for the “Maggie May” star.
We’re told there will be clips of their appearance on NBC’s “Today” show on Wednesday morning.
