Three months after getting married, Danielle Staub hires divorce attorney

Danielle Staub is preparing for a divorce from Marty Caffrey.

“Danielle has received a letter advising her to retain counsel, which she has,” her rep told Page Six on Sunday.

“The two attorneys spoke and both sides agreed to keep this matter private. It’s disappointing to her that only 48 hours later that understanding is apparently no longer being honored.”

We’re told that Staub has not received anything other than the letter at this point.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 56, married Caffrey, 66, in a Bimini beach ceremony in May. Their marital “difficulties” became public last month, with Caffrey releasing a statement to the media regarding his grievances with her.

“Danielle is very disappointed that Marty spent time composing a three-page statement for the media but won’t sit down and talk with her about the situation,” her rep told us at the time. “She is also disappointed that he seems much more concerned about press coverage than he does about his marriage.”

The couple began dating in 2016. This was her 20th proposal and third marriage.
