Julia Louis-Dreyfus thanks ‘Veep’ crew for coming back for final season

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is thankful the cast and crew of HBO’s “Veep” came back together to finish the show after her battle against breast cancer.

“I really appreciate everyone coming back and working it out to come back,” the actress said in an Instagram video right before shooting the first take of Season 7. “I’m very grateful. Thank you very much. Love you guys Season seven!”

She captioned the video, “Before the first shot of season 7 of @veephbo. So deeply grateful to be back together with all these superb people.”

Filming of the Emmy-winning show was postponed in 2017, after Louis-Dreyfus revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“We have one more season we’re doing, which we’re incredibly excited about,” executive producer Frank Rich said at the time. “Rather impressively, while we wait for her to gather her full strength, around her treatment we’ve been having with the cast in Los Angeles, table reads of scripts for the final season as they’re ready.”

Louis-Dreyfus, 57, has underwent four rounds of chemotherapy and surgery since her announcement.

In February, post-surgery, she wrote on Instagram, “Hoorah! Great doctors, great results, feeling happy and ready to rock after surgery. Hey cancer, ‘F–k you!’”

Selina Meyer is officially back.
