Mac Miller charged with two counts of DUI

Mac Miller has officially been charged with DUI following his harrowing car crash in May.

TMZ reports that Miller, 26, faces two counts of DUI: one for driving under the influence and one for driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above.

Though Miller was initially booked for hit and run, he was not charged as such.

Police previously told Page Six that the “Dang” rapper was driving while intoxicated at 12:50 a.m. when he hit a curb, then collided with an electrical pole in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles on May 17.

Miller and two passengers then ran away from the scene, according to police.

Miller reportedly blew almost twice the legal limit on a Breathalyzer at the time of his arrest.

He was held on $15,000 bail and released hours later.

If convicted, Miller faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, though as a first offender, he likely will get a license suspension, probation and community service, TMZ reports.

Miller, whose ex Ariana Grande made her red carpet debut with Pete Davidson at the VMAs on Monday, previously said the arrest was a necessary wakeup call to take better care of himself and clean up his act.

“I made a stupid mistake,” he told Apple Music’s Beats 1 in July. “I’m a human being. But it was the best thing that could have happened.”

A rep for Miller did not immediately return a request for comment.
