Inside the rehab center where Ben Affleck is getting treatment

Ben Affleck couldn’t have picked a cushier place to get clean.

The Oscar winner checked into rehab for the third time on Wednesday at The Canyon at Peace Park in Malibu, Calif., to focus on recovery from his alcohol addiction.

The sprawling luxury facility rests on 240 acres blessed by the Dalai Lama and adorned with trails, outdoor pools and beach access.

Each patient has an individual psychiatrist, therapist and internist to co-create a recovery plan as well as a wellness plan for the patient to use for the rest of their lives. Each plan is customized to the individual patient based on their specific needs.

“We want to make sure we get to the core issue you’re struggling with,” The Canyon CEO Kathleen Bigsby said in a video about the center, citing that 79 percent of addicts have co-occurring concerns, including depression and anxiety, that can trigger backsliding and relapses.

“We know if we just tend to the addiction, the mental health issues are still there,” she said.

Detox is often the first step in treatment, with medical professionals monitoring and treating patients as needed for withdrawal, which is sometimes done with medications before the patient moves on to other forms of long-term recovery.

The Canyon offers several types of therapy for individuals and groups, including cognitive behavioral therapy, 12-step meetings, family therapy, relapse prevention education and recovery coaching.

Other forms include nutrition and wellness groups, adventure therapy (with ropes courses hiking trips and a climbing tower), equine therapy, yoga, massage and even a sweat lodge, according to The Canyon’s website.

The center offers organic meals and places a strong emphasis on nutrition, especially in alcohol addiction recovery.

The Canyon also boasts a “Meditation Dome,” where patients can get extra-zen.

Affleck, 46, sought help on his own with wellness classes focusing on “Buddhist ethics” and meditation before estranged wife Jennifer Garner drove him to The Canyon with a sober companion, TMZ reported.

The 46-year-old “Peppermint” actress, who shares daughters Violet and Seraphina and son Samuel with Affleck, reportedly staged an intervention after photographs emerged of Affleck appearing to receive an alcohol delivery at his home that included beer and Johnnie Walker whiskey — the drink of choice of Affleck’s latest fling, Playboy model and fellow fast-food fan Shauna Sexton.

Affleck reportedly has been “struggling” since splitting from “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus.

A source previously told Page Six of the troubled actor, “He’s having a tough time. It’s unclear what his relationship is with Lindsay and he still has his relationship with Jen. It’s not easy and he’s struggled with staying on a straight path before.”

Affleck first went to rehab in 2001, then again in 2017 shortly after he was photographed with a detox nurse.
