Jho Low, the onetime Hollywood fixture who’s allegedly in hiding over his corruption scandal in Malaysia, is trying to block the publication of two blockbuster books on him.
The tomes include “The Sarawak Report” by Clare Rewcastle Brown.
Reports claim her UK publisher was contacted by law firm Schillings on behalf of Low, threatening to sue for “substantial damages.”
There are still plans to publish it independently in Britain.
UK publishers of the other book, “Billion Dollar Whale” by Tom Wright and Bradley Hope, also reportedly have received legal letters.
It will be released Sept. 18 in the US by Hachette, which had no comment.
Low’s denied any wrongdoing.
Schillings wouldn’t confirm if Low’s a client.
