A film vet at a New York VIP screening of “Beautiful Boy” — starring Steve Carell and heartthrob Timothée Chalamet — told us of the turnout: “I’ve never seen so many power guests arrive with their teen daughters rather than their spouses.”
The source said of Chalamet, “he was like a baby Elvis,” and, “he spoke to every single girl there, and took selfies with all of them. But he was very serious about the message of the film. The girls were transfixed.”
The film’s based on father-and-son David and Nic Sheff’s best-selling memoirs of addiction.
Guests also included James Franco, Molly Ringwald and Joel Grey.
