Actress claims Geoffrey Rush sent her suggestive emoji

The actress accusing Geoffrey Rush of inappropriate behavior has alleged in court that in addition to running his fingers over her breast “deliberately” while rehearsing a play, he also sent her a panting emoji in a text that said, “I was thinking of you as I do more than is socially appropriate.”

Actress Eryn Jean Norvill, who starred with Rush in a 2015 production of “King Lear,” told an Australian court this week that the actor made her feel “unsafe,” reports said, and that she felt if she said anything, “I would have had to leave the show.”

The Oscar winner’s suing the publisher of Sydney’s Daily Telegraph for defamation over articles that accused him of being inappropriate with Norvill.
