Kate Upton and Justin Verlander welcome a baby girl

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander’s team has expanded to three.

On Nov. 7, the Sports illustrated bombshell welcomed her first child, a girl, with her husband of over a year and shared a sweet snap on Instagram with the caption, “Genevieve Upton Verlander 💗 11.7.18”

Following Verlander’s World Series win with the Houston Astros in October of 2017, the first in franchise history, he and Upton, 26, tied the knot shortly afterward in Tuscany, Italy.

In July, the supermodel announced she was expecting.

“#PregnantInMiami @justinverlander,” she revealed to her 6 million Instagram followers.

Following Upton’s announcement, Verlander, 35, gushed about the model mom-to-be.

“You’re going to be the most amazing Mom!! I can’t wait to start this new journey with you! You’re the most thoughtful, loving, caring, and strong woman I’ve ever met! I’m so proud that our little one is going to be raised in this world by a woman like you! I love you so much!” The Astros pitcher penned.

The couple are already proud pet parents to dog Harley.
