Michelle Obama jams to her own playlist during photoshoot

Former First Lady Michelle Obama arrived at her Essence magazine cover shoot ready to boogie.

“When she walked on set, she had her own playlist. There was tons of Michael Jackson, Chance the Rapper — and when she put on ‘Humble’ by Kendrick [Lamar], things got loose,” the magazine’s entertainment director Cori Murray told “Page Six TV.”

Obama appears on the mag’s December/January issue, and talked about her relationship with Barack Obama.

“You need a man who stays consistent. He’s respectful of the women in his life,” Murray said. “Barack has been consistent with his mother, his grandmother . . . He didn’t change.” Obama is on an arena tour promoting her memoir, “Becoming.”

First-day sales of the book topped 725,000, making it one of the strongest debuts of the year. In the book, she gets candid about her fertility challenges, which was a hot topic at the Night of Hope awards at Capitale.

Dr. John Zhang and New Hope Fertility Center kicked off their event in honor of Obama.

The event raised over $100,000 for women facing birthing challenges. “I want every woman to feel as empowered and inspired by Michelle Obama,” he said.
