Bethenny Frankel recovering from falling unconscious after allergic reaction to fish

Bethenny Frankel is recovering from an unusual allergic reaction to fish that landed her in the hospital.

“I have a rare fish allergy,” Frankel, 48, explained on Twitter Monday. “Sun, I had soup, itched & was unconscious for 15 mins then to ER & ICU for 2 days with BP (blood pressure) of 60/40.”

If that wasn’t bad enough, the “Real Housewives of New York” star who is mom to 8-year-old daughter Bryn adds she couldn’t talk or see and thought she was dying from a stroke.

Doctors told Frankel that had she received treatment any later, the incident would have been fatal.

“911 & EPI save me,” Frankel said. “I’ll never not carry an #epipen @NewtonWellseley.”

Frankel didn’t share whom she was dining with or the name of the restaurant, but we’re told she’s out of the hospital. Fans chimed in that Newton Wellesley is a fine medical facility. Frankel agreed — except for the beds and lack of a television.

Another well-wisher tweeted that EpiPens can be expensive for people without insurance and suggested she may want to donate any if she can.

“I’m all over this,” Frankel added. “I’ve heard about it and this will be a mission of mine.”
