Roseanne Barr says she’s been booked to speak at the the Israeli Knesset, Jan 30.
The disgraced comic is traveling to Israel with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and his World Values Network.
Since she was canned by ABC, Barr’s found support from the rabbi.
She’s apologized for, and defended, her Twitter comments in a series of exclusive interviews with him.
Controversial Barr said in a statement on the Israel trip: “Israel is an oasis of openness, freedom, democracy and tolerance amidst a desert of brutality from an age gone by.”
Boteach added, “Bringing an incredibly proud Jewish woman like Roseanne to Israel will be a great boost to its citizens.”
