New year, new ‘do.
Isla Fisher started her 2019 by trading in her signature red locks for some bleach-blond highlights, showing off her new hair and dark spray tan in an Instagram selfie on Tuesday.
The 42-year-old “Arrested Development” star captioned the shot, “Go blonde in ‘19 or go home,” although it seems likely that her freshly dyed hair is actually just a very convincing wig.
Especially considering the fact that last summer, the mother of three posted a photo from the time she actually dyed her hair white-blond for her role in 2002’s “Scooby Doo,” writing, “This period in my life convinced me that gentlemen do NOT necessarily prefer blondes.”
But for now, at least, it looks like Fisher is giving the “blondes have more fun” maxim one last shot.
