She accessorized the look with $180 Dr. Martens velvet “Jadon” boots, a vintage Chanel Sport white nylon flap blackpack worth $1,890 and a black double C-branded beret from the label’s spring 1998 collection.
This particular hat is also already a pop culture touchstone, as it was famously worn by Julia Roberts in the 1999 film “Notting Hill” when her character first meets Hugh Grant in his bookstore.
It makes sense that the “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer would pay homage to the Oscar winner: After all, she’s just a girl, standing in front of the internet, asking it to love her.
