Julianne Hough’s endometriosis prevents sex with husband Brooks Laich

Julianne Hough has learned to live with her endometriosis, but it can impact her intimacy with husband Brooks Laich.

“It can definitely cut things short,” Hough told Women’s Health of having sex with Laich. “Sometimes we’re in the middle and I’m just like ‘AH, stop!'”

The former “Dancing With the Stars” champion, 30, admitted sometimes she’ll tell her NHL player husband that sex is off the table on certain nights because of her pain.

“It can be really frustrating,” Hough said. “He only wants to love on me and make me feel good.”

Hough’s condition, which started showing symptoms when she was 15 years old, doesn’t prevent them from getting hot and heavy in other ways.

“There’s so much intimacy without actually having sex,” she shared. “There are some cool things we’ve learned and it’s literally been awesome.”

Hough joins celebrities such as Lena Dunham, Halsey and Jaime King who have been outspoken about their battles with endometriosis.
