Mum’s the word when it comes to Katherine Schwarzenegger’s engagement to Chris Pratt.
While appearing on the “Today” show Tuesday morning, Maria Shriver briefly discussed her daughter’s recent engagement news but revealed she couldn’t say too much about it.
“She’s super happy — and gave me very strict instructions not to talk about it,” Shriver said. “She said, ‘It’s not your moment.’ I’m like, ‘I’m clear.’ I gave her that line!”
Shriver added, “She wants to have her moment. Good luck.”
The future Mr. and Mrs. Chris Pratt announced the news last week that they’re tying the knot. The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star proposed with a ring that cost six figures and weighed in at around six or seven carats.
At the time, Shriver congratulated the couple in an Instagram comment.
“Congratulations to two loving, kind, caring, thoughtful, spiritual people,” Shriver wrote. “We are so happy for you. You are blessed, as is everyone who knows you. Yes, let’s go.”
