ABC’s ‘GMA Day’ rebranded as ‘Strahan and Sara’

Fans of “GMA Day” might have noticed a new look and feel on Monday.

The show, which is hosted by Michael Strahan and Sara Haines, has been re-titled “Strahan and Sara” – readjusting the focus on to its hosts.

There’s also a new set and logo. The show will remain at its 1 p.m. time slot.

The show’s official Instagram account plugged the rebranding, saying, “New name, same @SaraHaines and @MichaelStrahan! We’ll see you for lunch every weekday at 1 p.m.”

Ratings for the program haven’t matched “The Chew,” which it replaced last year. According to Variety, the Strahan-led show earns between 1.7-1.9 million viewers each day, whereas “The Chew” pulled in a solid 2 million.

If the new moniker feels oddly familiar, it because Strahan, 47, famously left his post at “Live! With Kelly and Michael” in 2016 after four years to permanently join “Good Morning America.”

The decision caught Ripa off guard, causing a fallout among the formerly friendly pair. She infamously took a week off from the show after the news made headlines.

Strahan, who was twice married with four kids, recently said he and Ripa no longer keep in contact, adding, “I haven’t spoken to her in a long time.”

Haines, who is pregnant with her third childleft her seat at “The View” to join “Good Morning America” in the summer of 2018.
