Lenny Kravitz, who could have any woman in the world, wants love.
“I would really like [to find love],” the rocker told People about his relationship status. “But it’s difficult for me, being so dedicated to my art, which is not an excuse, it’s just difficult.”
Kravitz, 54, has dated numerous women including Nicole Kidman, Adriana Lima and singer Vanessa Paradis. But his most famous relationship was with Lisa Bonet, whom he married in 1987 and divorced in 1993. They share 30-year-old daughter Zoe Kravitz.
“After Lisa and I separated, we learned to find a new relationship,” said Kravitz, noting their bond is more like “brother and sister” now and not exes.
She’s since moved on and is married to Jason Momoa.
“I love him, he loves my kid and I love their kids and we’re all one big family,” Kravitz explained. “It’s beautiful.”
But of his current path to find love, the “American Woman” singer signals he’s ready for the work that relationships take.
“I’m a place now where I’ve been through so many relationships, and I haven’t been good at it all the time, at all,” he said. “I’ve had to a lot to learn, but I feel like I’m at a place where I’m ready for that.”
He said, “Things come to you when you’re ready, I believe.”
