Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Chrissy Teigen are planning a pizza date for the Grammy Awards.
The match made in social media heaven came about when the model on Friday invited the freshman New York Dem to watch the Sunday awards show with her and husband John Legend.
“@AOC hello my hero, do you wanna come over and watch the grammys with us? There will be pizza,” Teigen tweeted. The post had 81,400 Likes and counting as of Saturday.
“Yes! We can live-tweet me burning something in the kitchen,” replied Ocasio-Cortez, whose district covers parts of Queens and the Bronx.
Social media users went crazy over the budding friendship.
“Omg this friendship is something I desperately wanted but didn’t know until right now,” @lily_duffield tweeted.
Some even suggested Teigen enter the political arena.
