Ariana Grande reveals what she would have worn to the 2019 Grammys

Thank you, Zac.

Ariana Grande may have boycotted the 2019 Grammys due to disagreements with producer Ken Ehrlich, but she still dressed up in a designer gown and diamonds for the occasion.

“When @zacposen makes u a custom gown it doesn’t matter if you’re singing or not 🌫 …. thank u 🖤,” Grande, 26, captioned an Instagram photo of herself sprawled on the floor in the strapless pale blue dress. The “Thank U, Next” singer also added a pair of Borgioni opal diamond earrings and a custom Butani diamond choker necklace worth over $380,000 and featuring more than 1,000 fancy-cut diamonds. She of course swept her hair up into her iconic high ponytail.

Just one week before the Grammys, Grande not only pulled out of her scheduled performance, but also refused to attend at all. “I’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me,” she wrote on Twitter, responding to an article in which Ehrlich insinuated that her performance fell through because of poor planning.

“I can pull together a performance over night [sic] and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend,” she continued.

Despite the drama, Grande still won her first Grammy on Sunday, taking home the Best Pop Vocal Album award for “Sweetener” — and looked great doing it.
