Travis Scott chose pre-Grammys rager over ‘SpongeBob’

“Y’all look a little tense in here,” rapper Travis Scott told the crowd before performing at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday. “I only come to rage . . . I could’ve just stayed in the crib and watched ‘SpongeBob’ with Stormi [his 1-year-old daughter with Kylie Jenner] all night, but I chose to come and party with y’all tonight, so I just wanna rage.”

Also performing were Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R, Ledisi, Rob Thomas, Chloe X Halle, Brandi Carlile, Florida Georgia Line, Bebe Rexha, Keala Settle and the Time.

CNN’s Don Lemon was spotted dancing on his chair. The anchor told Page Six he was ecstatic to escape his desk and politics for an evening.

House speaker Nancy Pelosi sat with music manager Scooter Braun, and guests included David Foster, Barbra Streisand, David Hockney, Joni Mitchell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Calvin Klein, Julian Edelman, Alice Cooper, Beck, Dionne Warwick, George Clinton, LL Cool J, Ashlee Simpson, Kylie and Caitlyn Jenner, Joan Collins and Robin Thicke.

Davis later headed to the Polo Lounge with VIP pals Denise Rich and Nikki Haskell after the nearly five-hour event.
