Stacey Bendet showed off her latest Alice + Olivia collection at the Angel Orensanz Foundation, where models posed in installations of roses, mechanical butterflies and a “snowscape” with a model in a gilded birdcage.
Bendet said of the project: “It’s all dark, sexy fantasy. I guess it’s my version of empowerment. It’s OK to be empowered and a feminist and sexy. Be yourself; that’s feminism to me.”
