Brody Jenner ‘lucky to live’ after hoverboard accident

Brody Jenner is grateful for modern medicine.

The reality star, 35, shared an X-ray on Instagram of his elbow with various screws placed in it and said how “lucky” he was not to have suffered worse injuries after falling off a one-wheel hoverboard.

“Feeling pretty lucky to live in 2019. If this was a few hundred years ago they might of just chopped the lower half of my arm off, filled it with leeches and sent me home,” he captioned the picture. “In all seriousness feeling very fortunate. Rehabilitation starts today!”

Last week, Jenner, who is confirmed to star in the forthcoming reboot of “The Hills,” shared a picture of himself in a hospital bed and thanked his surgeon for putting his arm “back together.”

“Just want to say thank you to Dr Modabber and his incredible team for putting my elbow back together. Apparently Shoey and I were snowboarding in Park city while I was under,” he wrote, referencing his dog. “Thanks for all the get well wishes!”
