Everything we know about Katy Perry’s engagement ring from Orlando Bloom

He went floral.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged on Valentine’s Day, with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star popping the question with a flower-shaped ring after a few on-and-off years of dating.

The center gemstone in the “Teenage Dream” singer’s engagement ring appears to be either a ruby or a vivid pink diamond, Kathryn Money, VP of strategy & merchandising for Brilliant Earth, told Page Six Style. Money did not work with the couple on the ring.

The center gemstone is surrounded by a floral halo of eight round diamonds, is set in yellow gold and weighs in at an estimated 2-2.5 carats in total.

If the center stone is a ruby, the cost of the ring was likely between $25,000 and $50,000, Money told us. Set with a pink diamond, however — a much rarer gemstone — the ring’s value would skyrocket to somewhere between $500,000 and $2 million, or possibly even more.

While the design of Perry’s engagement ring is unique, it resembles both Lady Gaga’s ring from Christian Carino and Princess Eugenie’s ring from Jack Brooksbank in that it features a pink stone, diamond halo and yellow gold setting.

With such a standout engagement ring, who knows what the couple’s wedding bands will bring.
